In Partnership with Portland Community College Oregon Driver Training Institute offers the following programs and locations

Summer programs are required to run a minimum of 35 days including the behind the wheel.
No Class July 3rd

- There is NO CLASS on July 3rd for Portland Drivers Ed Course
- There is a mandatory parent meeting held the first class session
- The above schedule is for classroom time only. All class sessions are mandatory
- Behind the wheel lessons are scheduled outside of class time and will take longer to complete.
- We recommend 10 hours of driving prior to behind-the-wheel lessons
- Last day to register is Friday before class or when class is full
- PERMIT NUMBER REQUIRED AT TIME OF REGISTRATION
- BRING A PHOTOCOPY OF THEIR PERMIT TO THE FIRST CLASS.
Portland Drivers Ed
15-17 Yrs Old
For Teens 15-17 Yrs Without License. There Is An Additional $5 Student Fee for Glencoe.

- ODTI Instructors are TSPC Licensed Teachers and/or State Certified Driving Instructors
- Oregon Department of Transportation Approved Course
- 34 Hours of Classroom Instruction, 6 Hours of Driving, 6 Hours of Observation
18 Yrs or Licensed
18 Yrs and Over, Turning 18 Prior To Completion, Licensed Students
- The most complete & comprehensive program available
- Exceeds State Standards
- ODTI Instructors are TSPC Licensed Teachers and/or State Certified Driving Instructors
- Oregon Department of Transportation Approved Course
- 34 Hours of Classroom Instruction, 6 Hours of Driving, 6 Hours of Observation
- Teens must be 15 years or older.
- Attendance at all sessions is mandatory.
- Missed sessions must be made-up at an additional cost.
- Mandatory parent/teen orientation is held at the first class session.
- Must bring Oregon Instruction Permit and a photocopy of your permit to the first class.
- Students should have a minimum of 10 hours of driving experience before beginning the class.
- To register you must provide your teens permit number and expiration date. Online registration is not available.
The cost of the course is $295 for un-licensed minors, $495 for adults; plus a $10 material fee. The full cost must be paid directly to the PCC Business office by the first Friday of each term. Please make checks payable to Portland Community College. Minors are able to take the course at a reduced cost due to ODOT’s reimbursement program. IF THE STUDENT FAILS TO COMPLETE THE CLASS, TURNS 18 YEARS OF AGE BEFORE COMPLETION, OR ATTAINS HIS/HER DRIVER LICENSE PRIOR TO CLASS COMPLETION, S/HE IS NO LONGER ELIGIBLE FOR REIMBURSEMENT AND THEREFORE AN ADDITIONAL $210 WILL BE CHARGED.
