Registration Information for teen programs

  • Mandatory Parent/Teen meeting:

    The parent/teen meeting is held the first class session and is a minimum of 2 hours. 
     
  • Photo copy of student permit:

    Students are required to bring a photocopy of their permit to the first class session for our office records. If you are using your temporary permit card, you will need to supply us with a photocopy of your permit once you receive it.
     
  • Student must bring pencil, paper and the text book we issue them to every class:

      Please bring pencil and paper,  text book and your Oregon driver manual to every class. Students will be issued a text book in class.
      
  • Student can not get their license until they have completed both the Classroom and Behind The Wheel sessions:

    Students must complete both the classroom and behind the wheel prior to receiving their license or turning 18.  If students obtain their license, or turn 18 prior to completion of the program there is an additional fee of up to $210. If you have any questions regarding this rule please contact the office.
     
  • It is recommended that your teen have approximately 10 hours of practice behind the wheel prior to receiving behind the wheel lessons.

    We reccommend that your teen have approximatley 10 hours of driving practice prior to their first lesson.  We only get to drive with your teen for 6 hours and we have certain skills we are required to teach them, this does not allow us time to cover the basic skills.  Please provide time in the vehicle with your teen in low risk environments. 
     
  • Payment is not processed until after the first class session.

    Payment for all programs wil be processed after the first class session.  Portland Community College programs are processed  at time of registration.
